11 team drops playoff semifinal The Laurel Boys and Girls Club U 11 boys basketball team rallied from a 12 0 deficit to take a two point lead, but eventually fell to undefeated Oxon Hill, 31 29, in the Prince George County playoff semifinals last week. Laurel took a 29 27 lead with a minute remaining before allowing Oxon Hill four unanswered points in the final 60 seconds. Jeff Holland and Marcus Scott each had 11 points for Laurel. Greg Barber and Nyle Wilson led a solid defensive effort for Laurel, which finished 9 2.
